Joel Brill and Al Stankevitz can effectively interpret and accurately apply the requirements of the UL 508A industrial control panels Standard. When clients see the familiar UL Mark, they can be confident that the control panel has met the certification requirements.

According to Al Stankevitz, it was a challenging four hour, 80 question test. Al drew on his extensive experience building control panels for the past twenty years to prepare for the test.

Joel Brill, has been with Energenecs for 7 years, after a 15 year career as a journeyman electrician. According to Joel “This test certainly rivaled any test I took to obtain my electrical license.”

Brad Mentink, Operations Manager at Energenecs remarks “Being a UL listed shop entails quarterly surprise inspections of control panels in our shop. Inspectors go through the panels with a fine-tooth comb to make sure everything is done properly, according to UL standards.” Brad has been with Energenecs since 2012, his responsibilities are basically all things operational, as far as systems integrations go, including overseeing the UL shop.
