Introducing the Huber RotaShield Pilot Unit for Efficient Septage Receiving
Energenecs is excited to announce the availability of the new Huber RotaShield® pilot unit, formerly known as the RoFAS machine, for septage receiving in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. This advanced technology can efficiently empty a 6,000-gallon tanker truck in just 8 minutes, showcasing impressive speed and performance.
The RotaShield® unit has already proven its efficacy with 170 installations world wide. The RotaShield is the newest member of Huber’s pilot fleet and it has been recently operating at a large wastewater treatment plant in the Northeast and has received 86 trucks, processing a total of 421,453 gallons of septage. The RotaShield® removed nearly 20 cubic feet of debris that would have otherwise entered the plant’s sludge stream, highlighting its effectiveness in pre-treatment and protection of downstream processes.
Energenecs can provide the RotaShield® pilot unit for on-site trials beginning in August 2024, allowing facilities to test the unit from Tuesday to Thursday or at a time of their choosing. This is a great opportunity to see firsthand how the RotaShield® can enhance your septage receiving operations. The RotaShield septage receiving system is quick to set up and just requires a 40 AMP breaker and a water supply.
