Reduce Downtime with Ready to Ship Wangen Pumps

Emily Vebber, Debbie Hyke, and Kevin LaPean (Technical Sales Team at Energenecs) visited the WANGEN America headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois recently for training of their latest products. One of the products featured was the WANGEN Xpress Progressing Cavity Pump. The Xpress is ideal for low-viscosity media, with the X-LIFT quick change system.

The reliable pump with cardan joint is excellent for conveying sludge in wastewater treatment plants. Fast rotor/stator changes are possible thanks to the patented X-LIFT quick-change system. When removing or installing the rotor/stator, there is no need to remove the pump from the piping system thanks to its service-in-place design. The Xpress pump ensures easy maintenance and considerably shortens the servicing time.

Technical highlights:

  • Temperature up to 140 °F
  • Max. differential pressure 87 psi
  • Viscosity up to 20.000 mPa·s
  • High solids content up to 8%
  • Run-dry monitoring PT100

The X-LIFT flange is constructed on standard flange design principles. The pump rotor and stator are both constructed in one piece with no risk of leakage due to a split sealing design. This ensures the high mechanical stability of the pump housing. And thanks to the block construction, it remains extremely compact.

Emily remarks “This line features several progressive cavity pump sizes that can ship within one week. The ease of maintenance on these is also a big highlight!”
