Energenecs’ Environmental Mission

The mission of Earth Day is to build the world’s largest environmental movement to drive transformative change for people and planet. Energenecs is committed to this movement by offering renewable energy solutions plus lowering their use of energy by installing solar panels in December 2017. The solar panels have produced approximately 100MWh annually. The energy produced is comparable to the powering 91 homes in the Midwest.

As of April 2021, Energenecs’ solar panels have saved over 404,524 lbs of CO2 emission, the equivalent of planting 3,056 trees!

Energences’ partners provides renewable energy solutions including:

Unison Solutions, Inc. is an industry leader in biogas conditioning, biogas upgrading, and BioCNG vehicle fuel systems. Their systems have been installed around the world at landfills, wastewater treatment facilities, dairies, and food processing digester plants. Unison’s expertise in purifying biogas includes hydrogen sulfide removal, moisture removal, VOC/siloxane removal, CO2 removal, compression, and gas quality monitoring.

CHP biogas and NG engines, heat recovery & containerized options from NISSEN energy Inc.

Cost-effective solar solutions from Sunvest Solar, a design-build solar developer committed to powering America’s future on sustainable energy technologies. SunVest Solar works as a general contractor, helping navigate the complex world of solar system installation.

The BioCNG system offers technology for cleaning and conditioning gas as a vehicle fuel. Biogas is piped to the patented BioCNG System from a landfill or anaerobic digester. Then hydrogen sulfide, moisture, siloxanes, volatile organic compounds and carbon dioxide are removed. Product gas is piped to a vehicle fueling system for use as fuel in CNG vehicles.

With the use of an anaerobic digester, Capstone microturbines are able to cleanly and effectively run on methane gas from landfills, wastewater treatment facilities and food processing facilities, as well as agriculture waste. Rather than  venting or flaring the methane gas, Capstone microturbines can convert this free fuel to clean and reliable electricity for use at the site or surrounding areas.
